Making A Purchase Could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept payments via credit/debit card or cheque with order. If paying by cheque, goods will not be shipped until funds have cleared into our bank account, this can take upto 2 weeks. Cheques must be made payable to Kessock Models. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. Shipping And Handling We ship small packages usually using Royal Mail recorded delivery, larger packages are shipped using a professional shipping company and are usually sent 24 hour delivery or 1st class recorded delivery (working days only). PLEASE NOTE WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIP TO THE CHANNEL ISLANDS! We can NOT ship aircarft or large parcels to Northern Ireland sorry. Postal/Shipping Zones. Zone 1. Making a purchase By submitting your order you are agreeing to our terms & conditions and are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use details for the purposes of supplying them, including passing your details on to couriers. We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and this is when the contract is made. You do not own the goods until we receive payment in full. Delivery We aim to deliver goods (In stock) to you within 5 working days (usually less than 48hrs). We cannot give an exact delivery time. This is subject to you placing the order before 3pm (Monday to Friday) if you find a defective or damaged item please inform us as soon as possible. Tracking information is available upon request.
Cancellation of Order As a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel your order and receive a refund. You must inform us in writing of your wish to cancel within five working days starting on the day the goods are delivered to you. You must return the unopened goods to us at your cost or ask us to arrange collection at your cost. We advise you the goods must be insured during any return journey that you organise. We shall refund the total amount of money paid by you for the goods, less any costs incurred sending/collecting the goods. (Please see returns policy below) Please remember that once you have notified us of your wish to cancel the contract there is a legal requirement for you to take good care of the goods and to use them in an appropriate manner (please see use of goods below).
What is the Kessock Models Return Policy? You may return an item purchased from Kessock Models back to our warehouse, we do not accept deliveries in person only via courier. We accept returns as long as the following conditions are met:
Refunds and exchanges are accepted within 7 working days starting with the day after the delivery date, accompanied by the delivery note and original invoice. All refunds require that the item be returned in the original unopened packaging, with all pieces and in original unopened condition. Goods MUST be sent insured delivery at your cost and must have a tracking number. All goods must be thoroughly inspected before building commences and no returns will be accepted for part built goods whatsoever. Opened packages may only be exchanged for an identical product, if faulty. If we feel that good have been deliberately tampered with a refund or exchange will not be offered by Kessock Models. Refunds will be applied to the paypal account that was used to purchase the item only. When no receipt/invoice is provided, refunds for goods will be given at the discretion of management. A credit note will be issued equal to the item's prevailing price less delivery cost and a 20% restocking charge will be levied. Identification is required for all refunds where no receipt is provided.
Refunds When is my refund processed? A qualifying refund will be either be credited back to the credit card that was used to purchase the item or in the form of a credit note, if the item was a returned without an invoice/receipt. If you choose to send the item back to our warehouse, your refund may take up to 28 business days from the time we receive your item. The refund will be applied to the credit card that was used to purchase the item, this may take several days to appear in your bank account due to banking procedures. What is refunded when I return an item? When you return an entire unopened order you will be refunded the price of the item paid at the time of purchase less shipping costs. When you return less than the entire order you will be refunded just the price of the items returned less shipping costs. If you are returning goods as not suitable or you simply have changed your mind, we have a restocking fee of 20% plus shipping costs. If your order qualified for free shipping, we will also deduct shipping cost from the goods returned.

Packing and sending your return, How do I send back my return? To ensure that your refund is processed as quickly as possible, please do the following when packing and sending your product: Send the product in its original packaging. Please pack the product so that it will not be damaged during the return shipping process. Include a copy of the delivery note and your original invoice/receipt. You must return the goods to us at your cost. We advise you the goods must insured during any return journey that you organise. We will refund any postage cost for damaged/defective Please call our warehouse before you return any goods.
Returning a damaged/defective item, I received an item that doesn't work, how do I return it? To return a damaged or defective item Please include a brief description of the fault. Please return your goods with a copy of the delivery note. please include your name, address, phone number, order number and returns number (issued by us).
What happens if we receive an item back because it is undeliverable? Every once in a while, we will have a package returned to us because the couriers were unable to deliver it to you. When this happens, we will attempt to contact you to establish a convenient re-dispatching date. Unfortunately we have to recharge you the shipping fee, as we get charged for returned parcels. Use of goods. It is the purchasers full responsibility to ensure that our product/s are used in an appropriate manner and at a suitable site, Kessock Models accept no liability for any injury caused by our product. It is imperative that liability insurance is obtained by you the customer and that any use with our product is carried out under the correct supervision and guidelines as set out by the British Model Flying Association, for full details please see the following link www.bmfa.org.
